Every other month our club aims to hold a recycling drive to increase recycling within our community. During these drives we collect styrofoam, #6 plastics and other specified items that we then recycle through neighboring companies in our area. As a club one of our main goals is to improve our communities eco footprint. This is why we have created a growing page of resources for recycling a variety of items that might otherwise be thrown away.

Our club has been working to establish policy at the Beaverton School District level regarding climate change prevention! After the Portland Public School District committed to reducing their green house emission, we felt it was the Beaverton School Districts obligation to do the same.

We recently featured a booth at the Cedar Mill Farmers market in order to spread awareness about our recycling drives and other recycling resources to our community!

Our club has been featured in a Cedar Mill News Article promoting our recycling drives! 

In the spring of 2021 our club planted blueberry bushes in Sunset High School's courtyard in the hopes of making Sunset a greener community! Today, our bushes are blooming and are beginning produce fruit!
